Crystal Luber

Operations Director

My husband and I are from the south suburbs of Chicago where I grew up in a loving Christian family with parents who taught me the importance of living life for God. I accepted Christ as my Savior when I was 5 years old and was baptized when I was 10. My experience with ministry started when I was about 12 volunteering in the nursery at my home church. I graduated from Bob Jones University in 2000 and we moved to this area in 2004 where we decided to stay and raise our two sons.

I've always loved being a part of the local church and I've volunteered with VBS and Sunday School at various different churches in every place that I've lived. In 2009, when my youngest son was ready to start preschool, I began working as a teacher at his Christian preschool. I taught there for 3 years while also volunteering in the children's ministry at a local church in Charlottesville. I went on to accept a position of Children's Ministry Director and led the transition to using the Orange curriculum while there. I am so thankful to be at Legacy Church where we are able to make an impact in the community where we live!
