It is a real privilege to serve our community as the Care Pastor at Legacy Church! After serving with a couple churches in Southern Virginia, we moved to Ruckersville in 2013 to start Gateway Church to "spread the hope of Christ through authentic love and passionate service." Little did we know that the name would become more than true as the ministry would become a "gateway" to an even larger movement of God within a couple years. In 2016, Legacy Church was founded. By early 2017, it became evident that both churches had the same mission and focus - we both existed to love, serve, and impact Greene and the surrounding counties for Christ. In this realization, I met with our key leaders and began to guide Gateway Church to merge with Legacy in the early fall of 2017. Adam and I were prayerful and confident that our church communities would be stronger and more effective once joined together as one. We have never looked back since and are continually amazed at what God is doing for His glory here at Legacy!

I also have the privilege of serving as a local police chaplain for Greene County Sheriff''s Office, chaplain for Renaissance Assisted Living & The Harbor at Renaissance in Stanardsville, board member for the Charlottesville Area Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and as a member of the executive board for Greene Alliance of Church and Community Efforts. Missions has always been a passion that has guided me on several international projects including countries such as Guatemala and El Salvador. I graduated from Liberty University with a B.S. and M.Div. in Leadership. Joy and I have two sons, Sean and Isaac, and love movie nights and traveling. My favorite verse is I Corinthians 15:58 (NIV), "Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." If we haven't met, say hello this Sunday and I would love to buy you a coffee soon to get to know you and hear your story!
