Welcome to the
legacy church family!
SUNDAYS @9 & 11am
85 Summit View Drive, Ruckersville
We’re glad you are here! We are a nondenominational church that exists to build Christ's legacy for future generations. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only true Savior and ultimate King. Our church family is diverse in age, background, & education. Anyone and everyone is invited to attend our Sunday morning gatherings as we worship and celebrate God through song, Scripture, and prayer. It is an honor that you would spend a portion of your weekend with us!
Parking
We meet in a barn off of Amicus Road in Ruckersville! The parking lot is gravel and wraps around the water tank at the top of the hill.
Coffee
Our Coffee Team provides a wonderful array of coffee, tea, and occassionally hot chocolate and lemonade.
Threads
We are more concerned with people’s hearts than what they are wearing. Come just as you are! Legacy Church is for everyone. Bonus points for Epic Beards.
Worship Service
Our services include singing, Bible teaching, and response. Our music is an act of worship to God; feel free to sit or stand. This is followed by a 30 to 45 minute message and a response time.
Kids
We have Pioneer Kids during both Sunday services for newborns to 5th grader. The elementary aged-children worship with parents for about 30 minutes and then have their time on the other side of the barn.
Students
We strive to equip students well for life after high school, especially in the areas of their faith. Students join the adults on Sunday morning, and they have midweek gatherings to address many different areas of student life.

dr. adam schwenk
Our Lead Pastor, Adam, has been pastoring in Greene County since 2014. It is his privilege to shepherd the Legacy Church family. One of his favorite Bible verses is Philippians 1:20 - “It is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death.”

I love Legacy Church, everyone feels like family, sometimes I feel more loved by them than I do from my own. I go as I am and feel accepted. I love the country like feel and environment as well.
— Alisha
Legacy is a wonderful church that not only preaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ but also practices what it believes by spreading the love of Jesus through the community.
